Our Trainers

Our trainers enjoy the freedom of not being stuck in one place all day. It’s refreshing to get out and see the city and train clients in different venues during the week. Many trainers end up with a consistent schedule and get to train people in their homes and condo gym spaces. This on site format allows us to pay our trainers more because we don’t have to cover facility overhead.

If you have a vehicle and you’d like to train a few less clients in a typical day, this may be for you.

Mobile Personal Trainer Vancouver BC  Status: Active

This is a mobile personal training position where the trainer will travel in Vancouver to clients and train them in their homes and condo gyms.

-The personal trainer will create personalized fitness training sessions to clients based on their individual goals and needs.
– Develop and implement effective exercise programs that focus on strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and overall fitness.
– Educate clients on proper exercise techniques and form to ensure safety and maximize results.
– Monitor and track clients’ progress, adjusting workout plans as needed to help them achieve their fitness goals.
– Provide guidance and motivation to clients throughout their fitness journey.
– Maintain a clean and organized workout area.

Skills:

– Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate clients to reach their fitness goals.
– Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, providing clear instructions and explanations.
– Customer service: Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients.
– Time management: Ability to effectively manage time and schedule appointments with clients.
– Education: Knowledge of exercise science principles and the ability to educate clients on proper exercise techniques.

Requirements:

This individual must be fully certified as a personal trainer with current credentials including First Aid, Certification through NSCA, ACSM, CSEP, ACE or a comparative certification.

Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a personal trainer to apply.

The individual must also have current and active liability insurance and a vehicle and be willing to travel from client to client in all of Vancouver.

A diploma or degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics is also preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provide 55 minute sessions to clients in home and on site throughout the week.

Travel between clients and be on time consistently for all clients.

Provide polite, professional, courteous and high quality personal training sessions to all clients.

Set goals, motivate and encourage all clients to improve and attain goals regarding their health and fitness plans.

Job Advancement:

The successful applicant will have the option for full time employment and bonuses for session packages sold.

Further advancement may be possible over time.
