Clients often ponder what the number one issue is that is affecting their weight loss. We always want a one-off perfect answer in our world. We’re looking for the one secret, the one commonality that can change it all for us. Unfortunately, weight loss and exercise issues often fall under the category of a combination of factors.

Weight Loss Involves Many Factors

There isn’t just one thing standing in our way of results, there are often many things standing in the way. You may not have enough time, you may also not have weights, you might not be sure what to do, you may also have an injury. It’s often a combination of factors that are stopping us from reaching our goal. This combination or pile of factors can often be overwhelming and difficult to modify all at once.

The trick is to figure out which factors can be changed so that you can start clearing the slate.

Weight Loss Is Complex.. There are many situations in life that are complex and weight loss is one of them. As you remove factors that stand in your way, the solution to your weight loss will become clearer and easier to overcome. Removing complexity and you can do this by getting rid of some of the factors standing in your way.

3 Tips to Deal With Common Weight Loss Factors

Time. Try to cut out small amounts of time for your workouts. You can get a lot done with a small amount of exercise. It doesn’t take much to tone muscle and tighten areas with a few squats and lunges. Follow up the next day with some push-ups and rows and you covered some basics.

Stress. If you’re stressed out, make a list of things you can do to bring your stress down. It might be difficult to remove stress from your life completely however, you can work on ways to manage it. Exercise is of course one of the best ways to manage stress.

Don’t know what to do. All too often, we are not sure which program to follow for which diet to try and this can cause us to stagnate. If you’re completely stuck, it’s a great idea to hire a trainer for even one or two personal training sessions. Everybody deserves this. Trainers should not be reserved for the rich and famous. We all have access to them and long way to put you on a program and on track to your newer healthier self.

So though we may wish there was one ultimate factor affecting our weight loss, in many cases, there are a multitute of factors we must address. It’s best to figure out which ones can be easily addressed and start with them. As you remove obstacles and deal with each factor, your weight loss should become easier and more manageable over time.
