Muscle fixes everything!

The other day, I was enjoying a YouTube video from a fellow trainer. He was explaining some fantastic functional exercises and while doing so, he stated something very interesting.

He said: muscle is everything.

The statement literally blew my mind. I realized he was completely right. I realized that muscle literally is the key to everything in our bodies. It’s running the bones, all of our movements, has the facia working with it and so much more. It’s dealing with the nervous system, our digestive systems and a million other things. It’s pretty darn important stuff.

Another interesting thing I realized after reflecting on the video was that muscle could fix everything.

As trainers, we use the muscles to strengthen, rehab, realign and so much more. We use the muscles to fix the body. Hence, all the keys lie within the muscles.

The Scary Part of Muscle

While watching that trainer’s video, I also realized that if the muscles aren’t working properly, a lot of things can suffer. We need the muscles around our hips and backs to be working properly or we end up sore, injured, weak, in pain and sometimes worse.

Unfortunately, in our daily world, trainers are yet to be covered by healthcare. Oddly enough, we are often the final step to return to health after a lot of injuries and other issues. There are many serious complications that can often be fixed by functional exercise. In other words, if you fully fix the muscles, you’ve got a chance!

I’m always blown away that we can help somebody with a pinched shoulder or hip very quickly. The healthcare system spends tons of money on this and the exercises take no more than three minutes. Feel free to ask our clients which way they prefer to remedy sharp pain in their necks and lower back.

So next time you’re wondering what muscle is all about, just understand that it is pretty much involved in everything and often has the keys to your issues. If you’re dealing with a body that’s not moving properly or hurting in certain areas, a personal trainer can be a huge help to fixing your musculoskeletal issues.

Stay tuned to learn more about what muscle can do for you. It doesn’t just build a pretty body, it builds a functional, strong and injury free body that will let you do pretty much anything and everything you could ever want.

Best of Health,
